'Kaiju No. 8' Anime Set for Spring 2024 Release, Spin-Off Series Announced

The highly anticipated anime, following a kaiju cleaner turned kaiju, will premiere on Crunchyroll, with a spin-off series launching in January.

TOHO Animation has released a promotional trailer for the upcoming TV anime, 'Kaiju No. 8', which is set to premiere in April 2024.
The anime's director, Shigeyuki Miya, believes that the show is coming at the perfect time amid today's uncertainty and has expressed his commitment to the project.
The story follows Kafka Hibino, an average worker at a professional cleaning company that specializes in the battle aftermath of Kaiju monsters, who turns into a hybrid monster.
A spin-off series, 'Kaiju No. 8 Side B', based on a pre-established story in the world where humanity is fighting against hordes of kaiju on a regular basis, has been announced and will be released on January 5th of next year.
The anime adaptation of 'Kaiju No. 8' will air on Crunchyroll in April of next year.
