- Over the weekend Ticketmaster emailed buyers that three added shows — Aug. 20 at Chicago’s United Center, Aug. 29 at Boston’s TD Garden and Sept. 2 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center — have been canceled and will be refunded.
- Ticketmaster said refunds will go to the original point of purchase and may take 7–10 business days to process.
- Musgraves and her representatives have not offered a public explanation and she has not posted about the change on her official channels.
- The canceled dates were extra nights added after the original itinerary, so the tour now reverts to its initial opening on Aug. 21 in Chicago.
- Coverage has split between fan and media talk of slow sales known as “blue dot fever” and a TMZ report calling the move a scheduling reversion; neither explanation has been confirmed and the rest of the North American tour remains on sale.
