Overview
- The friendly is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at 20:00 CEST at Stade Maurice Dufrasne in Liège and will be shown free on Juventus’ website as well as on DAZN and Sky Sport.
- Juventus named a 24-player squad for the trip but will be without Kenan Yildiz because of patellar tendinopathy and several other forwards and injured players including Jeff Ekhator, Zhegrova, Milik, Thuram, Pedro Felipe and Koopmeiners.
- The match is intended as a conditioning and evaluation exercise to give minutes to fringe players, test tactical ideas and assess fitness ahead of the club’s Serie A opener on August 23.
- Standard Liège is considered more match‑ready after several friendlies and a league start on August 8, a factor that could make the Belgian side sharper in the test.
- Bookmakers list Juventus as favorites and markets favour a low‑scoring outcome, and the club also completed minor squad business with Alessio Vacca loaned from Juventus Next Gen to Folgore Caratese until June 30, 2027.
