• The Juvenile Office of the 16th Judicial Circuit filed one felony assault charge and one misdemeanor assault charge on Tuesday in the Sept. 21 incident.
• The alleged attack occurred during an NBA YoungBoy concert at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center, where about 13,000 people were in attendance.
• Bystander video widely shared online shows the employee being pushed to the ground and punched repeatedly, and FOX4 reported a security guard was also assaulted while ejecting the teen.
• A T-Mobile Center spokesperson said the staff member sustained serious injuries, was treated on site, and was transported to a hospital.
• Kansas City police initially took the juvenile into custody and later released the youth to a guardian pending review, and hearings are closed with the juvenile’s identity kept confidential under state law.
