Overview
- JustWatch announced the new streaming service at TIFF: The Market on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, and said JustWatch TV will debut in October with an exact date to be announced.
- JustWatch TV will be built into the existing JustWatch app and website and will roll out across the U.S., Canada, the UK and Ireland, major European markets, Australia and New Zealand.
- The platform will launch with a mix of free ad-supported viewing, transactional rentals and an ad-free subscription tier to let users watch for free, rent titles, or subscribe to remove ads.
- Content partners named for the debut include Paramount, New Regency, Fremantle, Bleecker Street and Vortex Media, and titles will be non-exclusive at launch with executives saying exclusive windows could be added later.
- JustWatch says it reaches about 50 million monthly users and lists titles across more than 1,500 services, a scale it argues will help route discovery into direct views and give smaller labels a distribution channel though long-term competitiveness will depend on library size, audience retention and monetization.
