Body-worn video shows the armed street detention following a unanimous verdict at Bristol Crown Court.

Overview

  • The May 28 attack at a Bedford Street flat left Cainey dead and two men seriously injured, including one who needed life-saving chest surgery.
  • Investigators presented doorbell-camera footage of the stabbing and CCTV of Kotwica discarding the knife down a drain, and the weapon was recovered.
  • Armed officers arrested him nearby at the Painswick Road and Chequers Road junction, as shown in newly released police bodycam footage.
