Jurassic World Archipelago DLC to Arrive in Microsoft Flight Simulator Late Summer

Featuring six islands with custom airports, ferry ports plus dynamic dinosaur populations, the official Orbx Studios add-on has yet to reveal PC pricing or an Xbox release window.

Overview

  • Orbx Studios and Universal Products & Experiences have officially partnered to bring Jurassic World Archipelago to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
  • The expansion spans Isla Nublar and five other fictional islands—Isla Sorna, Matanceros, Muerta, Tacaño and Pena—along with real-world Costa Rican sites like Juan Santamaría Airport and Herradura Bay Marina.
  • On the ground, players can explore a custom ferry port, an upgraded international airport and a Jurassic World–inspired VIP terminal.
  • Dynamic populations of Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus Rex will appear across the islands during flight.
  • The paid DLC is scheduled for PC release in late August to early September 2025, with an Xbox launch to follow and compatibility updates for MSFS 2020 and X-Plane 12 in development; pricing details have yet to be announced.
