Bridgeman's business ventures include owning Coca-Cola bottling franchises and the publications Ebony and Jet.
The acquisition makes Bridgeman the fourth-largest stakeholder in the Bucks, joining current owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam, Wes Edens, and Jamie Dinan.
The NBA owners will be notified of the sale in a memo, marking the first NBA sale since the league's new media agreement in July.
