If you started getting Social Security before May 1997, your payment date is different. You’ll get your money on Monday, June 3, 2025.

Overview

  • SSI recipients received their June benefit on May 30 because June 1 fell on a weekend, resulting in two payments in May and none in June.
  • Social Security retirement, disability and survivor benefits for June will be paid on June 11, 18 and 25 based on birthdate groups, with pre-May 1997 enrollees paid on June 3.
  • The SSA has released its full 2025 SSI calendar showing upcoming payment dates from July 1 through January 31, 2026 to help beneficiaries plan around calendar quirks.
  • Over 70 million Americans depend on monthly SSA benefits, with maximum payments up to $5,108 per month for those who delay retirement to age 70.
  • Recipients are advised to wait at least three business days before contacting the SSA about late payments and to use direct deposit to avoid mail delays.
