Julius Avery to Direct Alien Thriller 'They Found Us'

The film, previously set in Saudi Arabia, will now be shot in Australia with a new cast.

Julius Avery replaces Neill Blomkamp as director for the alien abduction film 'They Found Us'.
The storyline follows a father and daughter on a camping trip facing a hostile extraterrestrial threat.
Originally set to film in Saudi Arabia, production is now planned for Australia in early 2025.
Joel Kinnaman, initially cast in the lead role, is no longer attached to the project.
The screenplay is written by Jeremy Slater and produced by Temple Hill Entertainment and AGC Studios.
