Julien Baker and Torres premiered their new song 'Bottom of a Bottle' on 'The Daily Show,' showcasing a tender country ballad with a full band and custom-made Nudie-style suits.
'Bottom of a Bottle' is the fourth single from their forthcoming album 'Send a Prayer My Way,' which features 12 tracks, including previously released songs like 'Sugar in the Tank' and 'Sylvia.'
The pair discussed their Southern roots and friendship, which inspired the collaboration, and addressed the 'queer country' label, expressing pride in their identity while emphasizing the music's broader country appeal.
Baker and Torres announced a North American tour beginning April 23, with additional festival appearances scheduled, including Big Ears Festival in March and Zootown Music Festival in July.
Special acoustic performances in London on March 17 and 18, tied to the album's promotion, have already sold out, highlighting strong anticipation for the project.
