Julien Baker and TORRES Announce Collaborative Country Album 'Send a Prayer My Way'

Julien Baker and TORRES will release their first collaborative album, 'Send a Prayer My Way,' on April 18 via Matador Records.
The album, inspired by a shared idea dating back to 2016, marks a stylistic shift for both artists toward a country sound.
The 12-track record includes previously released singles 'Sugar in the Tank' and 'Sylvia,' the latter inspired by TORRES' experience adopting her dog.
The duo plans to support the album with festival appearances, including Big Ears in Tennessee and High Water Music Festival in North Carolina.
Baker, known for her work with boygenius, and TORRES, celebrated for her introspective songwriting, merge their strengths in a project praised for its defiance, empathy, and exploration of life’s struggles.
