9-year-old Juliano Krue Valdi has been cast as the young Michael Jackson in the upcoming biopic, 'Michael'.
Valdi will portray Jackson during his early career with the Jackson 5, sharing the role with Jaafar Jackson, Michael's nephew, who will portray the adult version of his uncle.
The film, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is set to explore all aspects of Michael Jackson's life, including his rise to fame, his solo career, and the controversies that surrounded him.
Valdi, who has been dancing to Jackson's songs for five years, has nearly 150,000 followers on Instagram where he shares videos of himself dancing to MJ hits and wearing Jackson-inspired clothing.
'Michael' will begin filming next week and is slated for a worldwide release on April 18, 2025.
