Overview

  • Two genetic profiles were built from blood on a sheet used as a curtain and a bag of sand in the Alto Comedero house, and they do not match families of reported missing men.
  • Prosecutors say the new profiles are distinct from those of Jorge Anachuri, 68, and Sergio Sosa, 25, whose remains were previously identified and for whose aggravated homicides Matías Jurado is formally charged.
  • Investigators report that only about 20% of more than 200 seized items has been analyzed, with the Equipo Argentino de Antropología Forense working on osteological material.
  • Forensic work detected DNA in the groove of a facón and revealed cleaned blood traces on furniture, alongside calcinated remains and biological material collected during the July 31 raid.
  • Jurado remains detained at Gorriti as prosecutors prepare an imputative hearing and seek possible preventive detention, while psychiatric evaluations are incorporated into the case file.
