Overview

• The 70th Marcha Evocativa took place on August 22 in San Salvador de Jujuy, culminating at Puente Gorriti with the reading of Belgrano’s Bando and the symbolic burning on the Xibi Xibi.
• Governor Carlos Sadir, Mayor Raúl Jorge and municipal authorities joined gaucho associations, schools and security forces in the capital’s main ceremony.
• The Asociación Gaucha Jujeña “Éxodo Jujeño,” which is marking its 80th anniversary, organized the march and highlighted safety guidance for horses on asphalt.
• Local reporting and organizers described a very large turnout, with participation estimated at more than 10,000 people.
