Judge Judy Sheindlin's show 'Judy Justice', originally streamed on Amazon's Freevee, has secured a multi-year syndication deal to be broadcast in over 100 U.S. markets starting fall 2024.
The deal marks a significant moment as it makes 'Judy Justice' the first original court show on streaming to be sold into broadcast syndication.
Despite ending her previous show 'Judge Judy' three years ago, Sheindlin's repeats still attract millions of viewers, making her return to syndication a strategic move.
'Judy Justice' has already produced about 260 episodes over its first two seasons, with a third season recently launched.
The show features Sheindlin, law clerk Sarah Rose, court stenographer Whitney Kumar, and bailiff Kevin Rasco, and continues to release new episodes on Amazon's Freevee and Prime Video.
