Judiciary Activates OCC Network to Expedite Supreme Court Filings

The reform seeks equitable workload distribution across chambers to improve public transparency.

Overview

  • The rollout implements General Agreement 1/2025, which standardizes reception, registration, and assignment of matters within the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction.
  • Across 181 Common Correspondence Offices, 330 trained staff now receive filings for the Court and transmit them immediately through the MINTER‑SCJN module.
  • Physical filings and annexes must be sent by ordinary courier within three days to the Supreme Court’s certification and correspondence office.
  • The new intake applies to all eligible matters, with the stated exception of the review remedy referenced in Article 86 of the Amparo Law.
  • Plenary members of the Judicial Administration Body visited jurisdictions in Xalapa and Apizaco to review workplace conditions, administrative needs, and case flow during the rollout.
