• Under Alabama law, prosecutors removed the death penalty option and allege Miles supplied the .40-caliber handgun used in the fatal shooting of Jamea Harris, making him eligible for a life-without-parole sentence.
• Three pretrial motions over discovery and evidence production remain pending, with hearings to be set before the December trial.
• Miles has been detained without bond at Tuscaloosa County Jail since his Jan. 15, 2023 arrest, which also led to his dismissal from Alabama’s basketball program.
