Overview

  • On July 14 Judge Peinado ordered Google to hand over all emails exchanged among Begoña Gómez, her former Moncloa assistant Cristina Álvarez and Google director Miguel Rodríguez Bueno related to the UCM software project.
  • The judge extended his order to Deloitte, Mindsait (Indra), Telefónica, FLAT101 and Devoteam, compelling them to provide source code, executables, repositories and other digital deliverables.
  • On July 15 the Supreme Court dismissed Peinado’s request to investigate Minister Félix Bolaños for malversion and false testimony, ruling there was no credible evidence to proceed.
  • Gómez is accused of leveraging her Moncloa appointment to register the platform’s trademark and domain under a company she owns and use public payroll to benefit private ventures.
  • Hazte Oír’s popular accusation and a 2024 Audiencia Provincial ruling highlighted how Moncloa’s institutional structure might have facilitated the alleged misappropriation of public funds.
