Judge Orders Rep. George Santos to Reveal Identities of $500K Bond Cosigners Despite Threats of Violence

Rep. George Santos asked a judge to keep confidential the names of three people who guaranteed his $500,000 bond in a fraud case.
The judge granted media requests to release the names, giving Santos until Friday to appeal.
Santos's lawyer said revealing the names could subject the guarantors to danger and distress.
Santos, his lawyer and staff have received threats since his indictment on charges including fraud and money laundering.
If Santos's appeal fails, the judge will release the names of those who guaranteed his bond.
