Overview
- The detainees are Mayck Junior Pfister Pedro and two active military policemen, Felipe Ramos Noronha of the 15th BPM (Caxias) and Fábio de Oliveira Ramos of the 3rd BPM (Méier).
- They were arrested in Xerém, Duque de Caxias, hours after the killing while in a stolen Jeep Compass near the site where a white cloned Onix used in the attack was burned.
- Investigators seized two 9mm pistols, a .40 pistol, four phones and a bag of license plates, and the firearms were sent for ballistic comparison with projectiles recovered from the victim.
- Integrated security cameras tracked the Onix from Niterói toward the Rio–Niterói Bridge, and police obtained video showing the Onix and Jeep traveling the same route in Duque de Caxias.
- The homicide unit is examining possible ties to an organized criminal network linked to contravenção or the cigarette trade or to the victim’s work, and the suspects remained silent during questioning.
