Overview

• The detainee is a National Police officer assigned to the National Police School in Ávila.
• Guardia Civil arrested the officer on October 14 and brought him before a judge the following day.
• A judge ordered his pretrial detention in Segovia prison on October 15.
• The victim’s body was found on October 12 near Alto de La Paramera after a passerby alerted 112 from km 121 of the N-403 in Tornadizos.
• The Ávila Government Subdelegation said no further information will be disclosed at this stage to preserve the inquiry.
