Judge Grants 5-Year Restraining Order Against Zachery Ty Bryan After Ex Alleges Assault and Death Threat

The order follows court filings that describe a July attack, a death threat and alleged mistreatment of a dog.

Overview

  • A court ordered Bryan to remain 100 yards from his ex-girlfriend through Sept. 29, 2030, according to documents reported by TMZ.
  • Court records say the woman told police he punched her in the right temple on July 3 after she playfully bit his nipple while they were lying down.
  • Days later, she reported he threatened to kill her and allegedly said, “Shut the f*** up or I’m gonna shut you up.”
  • The filings also allege he grabbed their dog, locked himself in a room and punched a door off its frame, and that he sprayed the dog in the face with bleach in June.
  • Reports place the new order in the context of Bryan’s prior cases, including a 2021 guilty plea, a 2023 arrest, a 2024 DUI and a Jan. 1, 2025 Myrtle Beach case that remains pending, and his camp has not commented.
