The judge ruled that Bellino waited too long to sue under a New York City law protecting victims of gender-motivated violence, and her allegations did not present a 'serious risk of physical injury'.
Bellino's lawsuit was one of two pending against Tyler; the other, filed in California in 2022 by Julia Misley, is still in process.
Bellino has until March 13 to amend her complaint, following the judge's decision.
