Overview

  • About 14 overnight raids hit the disability agency ANDIS, the drug wholesaler Suizo Argentina and several homes, on orders from Judge Sebastián Casanello at the request of prosecutor Franco Picardi.
  • Investigators seized electronics, records and envelopes holding more than US$200,000—reported up to US$240,000—from a vehicle linked to executive Emmanuel Kovalivker in Nordelta, along with his phone.
  • Police searched residences tied to former ANDIS chief Diego Spagnuolo to secure his cellphone but did not find him, and judicial sources say the case is under secrecy with no arrest orders issued.
  • The government removed Spagnuolo from his post and named health official Alejandro Vilches as interventor to oversee the agency during the inquiry.
  • The probe stems from a complaint by lawyer Gregorio Dalbón after audios attributed to Spagnuolo described alleged 8% returns and mentioned Karina Milei, Eduardo “Lule” Menem and Martín Menem.
