Juan Roig Tops Merco’s 2025 Reputation Rankings; Mercadona Ranks Second Among Companies

  • Juan Roig has been named Spain’s top business leader for the seventh consecutive year in Merco’s 2025 survey.
  • Inditex leads the 2025 corporate reputation ranking, followed by Mercadona in second place and Grupo Social Once, Repsol and Iberdrola completing the top five.
  • The top five executives in the leader ranking are Juan Roig, Ana Botín, Amancio Ortega, Marta Ortega and Ignacio Sánchez Galán.
  • The evaluation drew on input from 1,372 executives, 647 business experts, 53,308 Merco Talent participants and 7,000 citizens.
  • To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Merco honored the top 10 historical companies and leaders based on cumulative reputation scores over the past quarter century.
