Overview
- On Day Two, the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme hosted a Nasha Mukt Bharat rally against substance abuse with more than 1,000 students and faculty, flagged off by Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai.
- The rally was paired with a motivational address by youth expert Swati Basotra and an information session on government welfare schemes led by Dr. Pankaj Rastogi.
- Inaugurated July 31 by Justice (Retd.) Tashi Rabstan, the four-day festival continues with thematic sessions on emotional wellness, youth leadership and substance-free living.
- Justice Rabstan’s opening remarks underscored the role of modern legal reforms—citizen-centric legislation, faceless assessments and the repeal of colonial laws—in achieving the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision.
- A cultural play titled “Bharat Ki Baat” and a multi-department exhibition highlighted Indian heritage alongside digital governance innovations and start-ups from eight government departments and university units.
