Joy Behar Contracts COVID-19, Absent from The View

Yvette Nicole Brown Fills in, Announces Engagement on Show

Joy Behar, co-host of The View, has contracted COVID-19 for the first time and will be absent from the show for the week.
Yvette Nicole Brown, known for her role in Community, filled in for Behar on Tuesday's episode.
While filling in for Behar, Brown announced her engagement to actor Anthony Davis live on the show.
Several other hosts of The View have previously tested positive for the virus or have had close calls.
Behar had previously taken a few days off the show in 2020 due to concerns about the virus.
