Henrichs shared the story on his YouTube channel, expressing gratitude for Kimmich’s kindness and calling him a 'super captain' and 'super person.'
The surgery was successful, and Henrichs reported that doctors confirmed everything went smoothly, though his recovery will keep him out for the rest of the season.
