- Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will face off in a heavyweight boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 8, 2024. This will be Ngannou's second professional boxing match, following his debut against Tyson Fury in October 2023.
- Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has stated that the winner of the Joshua-Ngannou fight could potentially face the winner of the Tyson Fury-Oleksandr Usyk fight, which is scheduled for February 17, 2024, also in Riyadh.
- Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight champion, has expressed confidence in his knockout power and has specifically mentioned targeting Joshua's chin during their upcoming fight.
- Joshua, a former two-time world champion, has dismissed Ngannou's comments and stated that he is not underestimating his opponent. He has also expressed his desire to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.
