Overview
- Eaton, 36, was serving a life sentence after pleading guilty in July 2024 to more than a dozen charges, including four counts of murder.
- Corrections staff at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center reported a medical emergency around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, and he was pronounced dead at a hospital at about 5:19 a.m.
- Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Worcester district attorney opened an inquiry, and the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
