Overview

  • The Joint Seat Allocation Authority published the first-round list on June 14 at josaa.nic.in for candidates to review via JEE Main or Advanced credentials.
  • A total of 62,853 BTech seats across 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs and 46 GFTIs are being allotted in this cycle.
  • Online reporting requires a nonrefundable seat acceptance fee by June 18 with a June 19 window for resolving payment issues followed by document verification queries due by June 20.
  • Further allocation rounds are scheduled weekly, starting with Round 2 on June 21 and concluding with the final IIT allotment on July 16.
  • Registration and choice locking ended on June 12 after two mock seat allocations on June 9 and June 11 guided candidates on likely outcomes.
