Overview

  • JoSAA posted Round 6 allotment results for 127 institutes—including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and 47 GFTIs—on its website at 5 PM on July 16
  • This final round eliminates float and slide options for IIT seats, requiring candidates to either accept or forfeit their assignments
  • Allocated candidates must complete online reporting by 5 PM on July 20, including seat confirmation, acceptance fee payment, document upload and query resolution
  • IIT-allotted students cannot withdraw, while those in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs may exit counselling until July 21 and must answer withdrawal queries by July 22
  • Any vacant seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be filled through CSAB counselling beginning after July 21 via csab.nic.in
