- Registration and choice filling opened on June 2 and will remain active until June 11 on the official JoSAA portal, so candidates must log in with their JEE application details to participate.
- JoSAA will publish mock allotments on June 8 and June 10 to let applicants preview outcomes before the first‑round seat allotment on June 13.
- Candidates who get a seat in Round 1 must complete online reporting, upload documents and pay fees by June 26 to confirm admission or risk automatic cancellation.
- Admissions to IITs and IISc will use JEE Advanced ranks while NITs, IIITs, IIEST and GFTIs will use JEE Main ranks, and candidates may choose Freeze, Float or Slide when accepting an allotted seat.
- The counselling covers a reported 67,323 engineering seats across 138 participating institutes, and female supernumerary seats will continue to be reserved exclusively for female candidates.
