Overview

• JoSAA released Round 5 seat allotment results on July 11 via josaa.nic.in for admissions to 127 institutes including IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs
• Candidates must complete online reporting—including seat acceptance fee payment and document upload—and resolve any verification queries by July 14, with issue resolution available through July 15
• Seat acceptance fee is set at Rs 15,000 for PwD and reserved category candidates and Rs 30,000 for all other candidates
• Round 5 is the final opportunity to opt for ‘float’ or ‘slide’ acceptance choices; Round 6, starting July 16, will only allow the ‘freeze’ option
• Applicants may withdraw from the counselling process until 5 PM on July 14, and Round 6 seat allotment begins July 16, concluding on July 21
