Overview
- Registration and choice filling opened on June 3 at 10 AM IST and will close at 5 PM on June 12 on the JoSAA portal
- Mock seat allotments based on provisional preferences will be released on June 9 and June 11 to guide candidates before finalizing choices
- Seat allocations will proceed through six rounds, with the first result due on June 14 and the final IIT round concluding by July 16
- Only candidates with valid JEE Main or JEE Advanced ranks may participate and allocations will consider candidates’ rank, category and locked preference order
- The process covers admissions to 127 institutes—from IITs and NITs to IIITs and GFTIs—and applies a one-time INR 5,000 processing charge when a seat is allotted for the first time
