His day-to-day status threatens Cleveland's lineup depth during a stretch of weak offense.

Overview

  • Ramírez was left out of the Guardians' starting lineup on Tuesday and is listed day-to-day with left wrist inflammation, manager Stephen Vogt said.
  • The wrist is the same one repaired in a June 16 hamate surgery and Ramírez returned from the injured list on July 22 after bypassing a rehab assignment.
