Jordanian National Charged for Attacks on Florida Businesses and Energy Facility

Hashem Younis Hashem Hnaihen faces multiple charges for targeting businesses over perceived support for Israel, causing over $700,000 in damages.

Hnaihen is accused of destroying a solar power facility and threatening to use explosives against other businesses.
He allegedly targeted businesses he believed supported Israel, leaving behind threatening letters.
The attacks began in June 2024 and escalated to an energy facility break-in in late June.
Authorities arrested Hnaihen on July 11 after a multi-agency investigation.
If convicted, he faces up to 60 years in prison for the combined charges.
