Joran van der Sloot, Suspect in Natalee Holloway Case, To Be Extradited to US to Face Charges

Joran van der Sloot is being extradited to the US to face extortion and wire fraud charges related to the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
Van der Sloot attempted to sell information about Holloway's whereabouts to her mother for $250,000 in 2010.
Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in Peru for killing 21-year-old Stephany Flores.
The extradition process could take months, and Beth Holloway hopes it will finally bring justice for her daughter.
If found guilty in the US, Van der Sloot faces up to 40 more years in prison after finishing his sentence in Peru.
