Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny 2024 Features Star-Studded Line-Up

The pre-recorded New Year’s Eve special airs tonight on BBC Two, showcasing performances from music legends and rising stars.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra return with their traditional New Year’s Eve show, featuring a mix of legendary and contemporary artists.
The 2024 line-up includes The Boomtown Rats, Jungle, Roger Taylor of Queen, Kathy Sledge, Marc Almond, and rising stars like CMAT and Toby Lee.
The show will air at 11:30 PM on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer, running until 1:40 AM to welcome 2025.
As is tradition, the program will include a countdown to midnight and a rendition of 'Auld Lang Syne' performed by the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards.
The special, while appearing live, was pre-recorded earlier this month and promises a festive atmosphere for viewers ringing in the New Year from home.
