Jool Baby Recalls Over 63,000 Infant Swings Due to Suffocation Risk

The recall follows violations of federal safety regulations, including the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

Jool Baby has issued a recall for more than 63,000 Nova Baby infant swings, citing a suffocation hazard due to an incline angle greater than 10 degrees.
The swings, sold at major retailers including Walmart and online, fail to meet the CPSC's Infant Sleep Products Regulation and lack mandatory sleep warnings.
No injuries have been reported, but consumers are urged to stop using the swings for sleep immediately and contact Jool Baby for a free repair kit.
The repair kit includes a new seat with updated warnings, plush toys, and a remote control, with shipments expected in 2-4 weeks.
The recalled products were manufactured from June 2022 to September 2023 and were available for purchase until November 2023.
