Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron, Canada’s 10th Most Wanted, Arrested at Trudeau Airport

Multiagency teams intercepted him at the airport ahead of his court appearance on murder alongside trafficking charges

Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron had been wanted by Saskatoon Police since May 2022 on several Canada-wide warrants for murder, drug trafficking and other gun-related offenses.

  • Quebec’s Sûreté du Québec Airport Unit joined forces with the Mascouche Major Crime Investigation Division and the Canada Border Services Agency to arrest Ouellet-Gendron at Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport on August 9.
  • He has been held on Canada-wide warrants for first-degree murder and drug trafficking in connection with a 2022 Saskatoon shooting.
  • Ouellet-Gendron was added to the federal Bolo Program in May 2023 as the 10th most wanted fugitive for serious criminal offences.
  • Saskatoon police linked him to the death of 29-year-old Brandon Baxandall behind an apartment on the 700 Block of Melrose Avenue.
  • He is scheduled to appear in a Montreal courthouse on Sunday to face the outstanding charges.
