'Magazine Dreams,' starring Jonathan Majors as an amateur bodybuilder, will debut in theaters on March 21, 2025, distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment.
The film premiered at Sundance 2023 to critical acclaim but was initially dropped by Searchlight Pictures following Majors' legal issues and conviction for assault and harassment.
Majors was sentenced to a domestic violence intervention program and has since been working to rebuild his career, including securing roles in independent films.
Director Elijah Bynum praised the cast and crew's dedication to the project, expressing gratitude for Briarcliff's support in bringing the film to audiences.
The film's release coincides with other major titles, including Disney's live-action 'Snow White' and Robert De Niro's crime drama 'Alto Knights.'
