- Jonathan Majors, convicted of assault and harassment last month, has been dropped from the upcoming film '48 Hours In Vegas' where he was set to portray NBA legend Dennis Rodman.
- The film, which was to be produced by Lionsgate, has also been released back to its producers to be shopped around to other studios.
- The film's plot centers on a memorable moment from the Chicago Bulls’ drive toward the 1998 NBA championship, when Rodman took a 48-hour trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the finals.
- This is not the first project Majors has been dropped from following his conviction; he was also let go from his contract with Marvel Studios.
- Majors' sentencing is scheduled for February 6th, and he could face up to a year in jail.
