Jonathan Bennett to Debut on Broadway in 'Spamalot' Revival

The 'Mean Girls' actor replaces Michael Urie as Sir Robin, with performances scheduled from January 23 to April 28.

Jonathan Bennett, known for his role in 'Mean Girls', is set to make his Broadway debut in the revival of 'Spamalot', taking over the role of Sir Robin from Michael Urie on January 23.
Bennett will perform in the musical comedy, inspired by the 1975 film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', until April 28.
Michael Urie will next star in 'Once Upon a Mattress' at the New York City Center from January 24 through February 4, before beginning filming for a television series.
The original 'Spamalot' production, which ran from 2005 to 2009, won several Tony Awards, including best musical, best direction of a musical and best featured actress in a musical.
Tickets for 'Spamalot', currently playing at the St. James Theatre, are on sale now.
