Jon Bon Jovi to Feature in IndyCar Season Opener with Meyer Shank Racing

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi will join the IndyCar season opener in St. Petersburg, Florida, as part of a collaboration with Meyer Shank Racing and SiriusXM.

Jon Bon Jovi will ride in the 'Fastest Seat in Sports' with four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves at the St. Petersburg race.
The collaboration includes Bon Jovi's SiriusXM channel being featured on Felix Rosenqvist's car for the season-opening race and the $1 million challenge at California's Thermal Auto Club.
Helio Castroneves, now a co-owner of Meyer Shank Racing, will lead the field to green in the season opener.
The partnership aims to raise the profile of IndyCar events and expose artists to the racing world, according to Meyer Shank Racing co-owner Jim Meyer.
Bret Michaels, another '80s rock icon, will also participate in the event, performing a concert at the track.
