- Jon Batiste, Grammy- and Oscar-winning musician, announces his first North American headlining tour, 'Uneasy Tour: Purifying the Airwaves for the People', in support of his latest album, 'World Music Radio'.
- The tour will kick off on February 16, 2024, in Portland, Oregon, and conclude on April 27 in Miramar Beach, Florida, covering 23 dates in cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta.
- Batiste recently received six Grammy nominations for 2024, including Album of the Year for 'World Music Radio', Record of the Year for 'Worship', and Song of the Year for 'Butterfly'.
- Presales for the tour begin on November 14, 2023, and tickets for the general public go on sale on November 17, 2023.
- Batiste is also the subject of a new documentary, 'American Symphony', which follows his journey to compose a symphony while his wife, writer Suleika Jaouad, undergoes cancer treatment. The documentary will hit theaters on November 24, 2023, and Netflix on November 29, 2023.
