  • In Altana Residencial, an armed confrontation led to eight arrests, two wounded suspects, the securing of three properties and four stolen vehicles, and the seizure of six AK-47s, two M4s, 31 loaded magazines including a 120-round drum, over 1,000 linked rounds, eight tactical vests and 16 ballistic plates.
  • Earlier on September 6 in Colonia Los Ángeles, the Guardia Nacional detained an armed civilian in a white Toyota Rav4 and found a long gun, three loaded magazines, ammunition and doses of cocaine.
  • On September 7, a judicial search in Stanza Cantabria uncovered a 7.62x39 rifle with a loaded magazine, .22 and .38 pistols, 61 magazines of various calibers, tactical gear including vests and ballistic helmets, and a Suzuki Swift reported stolen, with the home placed under guard.
  • All detainees and seized materials were turned over to federal and state prosecutors as investigations into origins and possible criminal links proceed, and authorities urged the public to continue reporting suspicious activity.
