Johni Broome and Cooper Flagg Named Unanimous AP All-Americans

The Auburn senior and Duke freshman lead the 2024-25 AP All-America teams as their programs enter the NCAA Tournament as No. 1 seeds.

Johni Broome of Auburn and Cooper Flagg of Duke were unanimous first-team selections for the 2024-25 AP All-America men's basketball teams.
Broome is the first Auburn player to earn first-team honors, while Flagg becomes Duke's 19th different first-team All-American.
Other first-team selections include Mark Sears of Alabama, Braden Smith of Purdue, and Walter Clayton Jr. of Florida, who is Florida's first-ever first-team All-American.
Both Broome and Flagg are leading their respective teams, Auburn and Duke, as No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament, which begins this week.
The second and third teams, as well as honorable mentions, recognize a mix of breakout players and consistent performers from across the college basketball landscape.
