John Ross Bowie to Reprise Role as Barry Kripke in New 'Big Bang Theory' Spinoff

The untitled project, currently in development at Max, will feature several supporting characters from the original series.

John Ross Bowie is set to return as Barry Kripke, a fan-favorite recurring character from 'The Big Bang Theory,' in a new spinoff series being developed for Max.
The spinoff will also include Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus, and Brian Posehn reprising their roles as Stuart Bloom, Denise, and Bert Kibbler, respectively.
The project is being helmed by original series co-creator Chuck Lorre along with Zak Penn and Bill Prady, though it has not yet been officially greenlit for production.
This would mark the fourth series in 'The Big Bang Theory' franchise, following the original, 'Young Sheldon,' and 'Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.'
Details about the plot remain under wraps, but the show is expected to focus on the lives of supporting characters from the original series.
